Using the right hot tub chemicals in your tub is incredibly important and that’s why I wanted to write this article for you today so that you get the right chemicals for the right tub. Believe it or not you have many many different options and it can get confusing to know which ones are the best but hopefully after you leave here today you’ll know exactly what you need and exactly how much you have to pay.

Rendezvous Activate 2.2lb this cost around $12 and is a fast dissolving non-chlorine shock that should very quickly destroy most contaminants such as perspiration as well as cosmetics that as I’m sure you know, cause odors and skin irritation as well as eye irritation. It should clear cloudy water and also kill odors without upsetting the water chemistry. You should add this stuff initially when the hot tub is filled and then daily as needed.

Leisure Time 4 way Bromine Test Strip these are a pretty good deal at only nine dollars. What you do is dip the strips into the water and then sort of compare the color of the strip to a chart on the back of the package which allows you to easily test your water’s pH balance as well as the alkalinity and the calcium hardness and also bromine. You really can’t get much easier than this which is why I recommend them.

Spa-Kem 252-6 Spa Foam Inhibitor Pool and Spa Chemicals, 1-Quart at around eight dollars a bottle this is a pretty good deal because it is safe for all types of spas. What it does is eliminate the foam from the water surface that many people find annoying. It won’t affect your pH balance of the water and at the same time it allows you to use the jets without having to worry about all the foam that they can sometimes kick up. All in all a very useful chemical.

Leisure Time Spa 56 Chlorinating Granules – 2 lb at $16 a bottle you’d be hard pressed to find this sort of thing any cheaper. It is EPA approved so you don’t have to worry on that count. What this does is effectively sanitizes and disinfects hot water using chlorine. It’s a shock for your spa to use after each use to destroy organic bather wastes. Basically it helps clean your tub.

Spa Purge 2 liter Spa and Hot Tub Chemical at $31 this is slightly more expensive but you get much more of it in this large 2 L bottle. The dosage is roughly 1 L per 400 gallons of water. What this does is to attack the root cause of most spa maintenance problems which is of course the build up of organic waste. These things include oils and lotions and cosmetics and also sweat that gets into your spa water as well as your plumbing and produces scum and clogs filters and smells as well as creates foam in your spa. This stuff should take care of all those things.

Everybody has their own preference when it comes to hot tub chemicals because not all chemicals work the same and also not all people use their hot tubs the same way. If you are a male and you are usually one of the only people to use your hot tub then you may not need chemicals to help break down cosmetics because you don’t wear makeup. You get the drift! Finding the right chemicals for you can sometimes be a process of elimination but luckily they don’t cost that much so if one doesn’t work for you you can easily switch to another.

Finding discount hot tub covers is important to everyone that owns a hot tub. Generally speaking most people buy the biggest hot tub they possibly can and spend as much as they can to do so only to realize afterwards that they still need many different things to go along with the tub such as a cover. Of course most people have already spent all their money on the tub itself and don’t have any left over for the extras which is why it’s so important to find a discount!

That’s exactly what I want talk about today. I want to give you several different options when it comes to hot tub covers so that you can find the one that’s best for you at the lowest possible price. Through necessity I’ll have to show you several more expensive models as well but that is just to give you a range so you know what to expect.

Cover Valet CV0104-The Cover Genie at about $100 this is just about as cheap as you can find a decent cover without buying something that’s used which I don’t think you really want. This is a very low profile design for a spa cover. It is a non-shock assisted version of the cover valet. You don’t need any more than 12 inches of clearance to use this cover which is incredibly handy. It has a durable powder coat finish and stainless steel hardware so that you know it won’t rust. Realize that you get what you pay for and you may want to upgrade because some people have had problems with this cover.

Cover Valet this is a popular design for $150. The cover valet makes lifting your spa cover very simple because it is made of powder coated steel and has a zinc coated hardware and pneumatic pistons. Granted this is not a cover itself but a mechanism to help you put your cover on and off but I thought I would add it anyway because so many people find it difficult to put their covers on and take the covers off and if you’re one of these people then this may be just the thing for you.

Soft Spa Covers by all weather spa, this cover cost about $170 and comes in a variety of sizes to fit any type of spa or hot tub or even Jacuzzi. It’s very light weight and easy to handle and comes with 10 to 12 tie down straps depending on the size of your hot tub making it quite easy to fit properly. One nice thing about this brand is that the manufacturer offers free shipping anywhere in the continental United States.

Hard Spa Covers also by all weather spa, this hardcover unit cost around $300 which hardly makes it a discount unit I know, but still gives you an idea of the different ranges of prices that are available. It comes with a 4 inch to 2 inch taper that is included and is upgradable to a 5 inch to 3 inch or even a 6 inch to 4 inch. This adds durability as well as insulation which is important. It comes with a 1 pound foam that you can upgrade to 1.542 pounds of foam if you wish. It has 2 mm of heat sealed foam protection that is upgradable to 4 mm with chemical vapor protection available. It is single top stitched vinyl that will last very well.

So as you can tell it can be very difficult to find discount hot tub covers that last and that’s one thing I wanted to make sure that I mentioned today. You can find very cheap covers but they won’t last and you’ll end up paying more money in the long run to replace them so it may be worth your effort to spend a little bit more in the beginning and get something that you don’t have to replace every couple of years.

We’d all like cheap hot tubs and that’s what I’m going to talk to you about today because if you play your cards right you can get away with finding a hot tub without spending an arm and a leg but you need to know a few different things before you begin down this treacherous path. I call it treacherous for several reasons which I will discuss as we go along.

When it comes to cheap hot tubs you basically have two or three options and I’m going to spend some time on all of them today. Some of them involve different types of tubs, some of them involve different prices for different types of tubs and there are some other things that you need to know as well, all of which I’ll get into in more detail.

The first option is to find a portable hot tub, and these are generally ones that you inflate with air and are only large enough for three or four people at most and generally don’t heat up quite as well and they just don’t work quite as well as a regular model but that nonetheless are fairly decent for the price. Generally speaking these cost from $400 up to $1000 and the cheaper the model the quicker they will wear out and the worse they work. You can even find some portable models for just $350 but they may not last a single season which is something you really need to keep in mind.

The next option is to purchase a regular hot tub but a smaller unit. I’m talking of course about a two-person tub which is really just like a regular bathtub only slightly larger and decked out with different jet options and heating controls. Now these come in a variety of different models and you can easily spend several thousand dollars on one of them if you’re not careful by adding lots of bells and whistles. But generally speaking you can find a serviceable two-person unit for under $1000 if you do some research on your own and are willing to install it yourself which is possible because these are smaller units.

Another option for finding inexpensive tubs is to purchase refurbished units from a dealer. We like to call these refurbished, but the fact of the matter is they are simply used tubs that have been returned to the store for any number of reasons. Sometimes they have been returned because of some defect that the dealer was able to fix on their own and then replace the model in the store and sell again. Other times a person elected to pay on an installment plan and couldn’t make the payments and so the dealer repossessed the hot tub. Think of these like storeroom models in an appliance store. Sometimes you can find incredible deals, but sometimes you just get a lemon.

The other main option for finding a cheap tub is to purchase them used from an individual. There are a number of different ways to do this from classified ads in the newspaper in your area to classified ads on the Internet, all the way up to auction websites such as eBay and others. If you follow this approach I recommend you buy from somebody near you because transportation costs are going to be prohibitively expensive so keep that in mind.

So there you have several different options when it comes to finding cheap hot tubs. I hope that you found my suggestions useful and can now venture forth on your own to purchase the hot tub that’s right for you that will fit your specific budget.

When it comes to hot tubs, you have many different options to choose from but I really like caldera hot tubs for a variety of reasons that I’ll discuss with you today. Picking the right brand of hot tub can become more and more difficult as time goes on. For some reason it’s just hard to find information on the different models out there but hopefully I can shed some light on the subject for you today and that is exactly what I’m going to attempt to do right here.

There are several considerations that you need to take into account before you purchase any type of hot tub and this brand is no different. So what are a few of the things that you should take into consideration? It’s a good question and it will vary from person to person and situation to situation.

The first thing that you need to think about is the size. I know the first thing everybody wants is a very large hot tub and believe me if you’ve got the money and the space you can’t go wrong with them! But most people try to cram too much hot tub into too small a space and end up spending much more money than they really need to.

Ask yourself what you plan to do with your spa. Is it primarily going to be just for you or maybe just for you and your husband or wife to relax in? Do you plan on having lots of parties and using it during the parties? Do you have a large family with many children who all would like to use it as well? These are the things you need to think about before you purchase your caldera hot tub.

If only one or two people are going to be using it at any time, then a smaller unit may make more sense for you. Sure I know you want the big one, but it will just be wasted space if many people aren’t using it at one time.

If only a couple of people are using it, or even if only one person will be using it, then you really don’t need anything larger than a two-person hot tub. Many times these cost thousands of dollars less than a larger sized model and people don’t realize the massive saving they could have. Plus maintenance and upkeep is usually much easier for smaller units.

Believe me I’m not trying to sell you on a small unit, I’m just trying to give you as much information as I can so that you can make the decision based on your own specific needs. If you’ve got a large backyard and you plan on putting your hot tub out there, then a larger unit certainly makes more sense because you’ll get more use out of it in a more social atmosphere like a party and things like that.

Of course larger units have some things that you need to take into account as well. For one thing they are more expensive, obviously. But there more intangible things as well such as installation. If you plan on installing your hot tub yourself, larger units may be more work than you intended. It’s a good idea to have large tubs installed professionally so that nothing goes wrong and your investment doesn’t go out the window.

The bottom line though is that whichever type or size of tub you ultimately decide to go with, caldera hot tubs probably have you covered every which way with options available to fit everybody’s space needs as well as their budgetary needs and backed by company that we can trust.

I’m not ever really sure why anyone would want a used hot tub. But some people do so I thought I’d help them out by creating a nice little web page to give them a few options so they know what to expect and exactly what they are getting themselves into!

Before I go any further I just wanted to throw this out there. You know what people do in hot tubs right? I mean really… man and woman things… know where I’m going here? I want to keep this a G. rated site so I won’t go into any further detail but people party in hot tubs and fluids get release when people party in hot tubs and well, I know I personally wouldn’t want to own a hot tub that other people had…uh…partied in even if you cleaned it out.

I’m just saying! Still, if price is an option and the only thing you can afford is a used hot tub then there are certainly deals to be had all over the place.

There are really two or three main options for you. One, you can go to a dealer and sometimes they will have refurbished units available at a discount. The other option is to search around on the Internet for classified ad sites or classified ads in newspapers. Of course a third option is to check out eBay that sells used everything and generally all of these options should work fairly well for you.

There are some drawbacks when it comes to buying used hot tubs and I went to spend just a minute or two discussing them. The first thing is quality. You really just don’t know what you’re getting when you buy a used hot tub because many people don’t realize that these things come with intricate electrical systems that can sometimes go bad causing the entire tub to become worthless unless you spend hundreds, sometimes even thousands of dollars replacing the electronic components.

See, you might get a hot tub that used and you may use it for a month and then have the electronic components conk out on you and there really isn’t a whole lot that you can do about it. It’s sort of like buying a used car; you just sort of roll the dice and take your chance! When you buy a hot tub new they almost always come with a warranty for that specific reason.

Another massive problem when it comes to buying a used model is transportation. These things are quite often very large and heavy and hard to deal with and need to be ripped out of their old setting and installed into your setting and that can be very difficult if you don’t have a store certified technician to help you out, which you won’t!

Not only is transportation a problem because the physical act of moving such a large item and installing it is difficult, but the other main concern is that something could break during transportation very easily. If you hit a good solid pothole in the road and the hot tub is strapped to the back of a truck it could quite easily knock out the electronics of the tub, rendering the whole thing useless.

Of course, these things won’t necessarily happen but they are certainly something to keep in mind and I wanted to raise the issue with you today before you got trapped with a lemon and nothing to do with it but cry over spilt milk!

Finding a used hot tub isn’t all doom and gloom like I said. But you really want to ask yourself if the price you’re paying is worth the aggravation and the potential for mischief that a used hot tub comes with. Maybe you should just shell out a few extra hundred dollars and buy a new one but the choice is certainly up to you!

Hot tub enclosures are really a very tricky subject to tackle because there are an infinite set of options at a nearly infinite set of price ranges and no one enclosure is going to be right for everybody, far from it! So how do you create a webpage to help people decide which is the best one for them? It’s a very good question but it’s one that I’m very excited to tackle today.

I’m going to begin by simply discussing as many different enclosures as I can. Many of these will be in the form of gazebo looking structures, as well as some other structures too. I’ll discuss different sizes and different features and also spend a fair amount of time talking about prices so that you know what to expect and don’t overspend. One thing I’ll say right off the bat is that these are all expensive and you really need to reconcile yourself to the fact that you’re going to spend a lot of money, sometimes as much or more than you paid for the hot tub itself!

Laguna Hot Tubs Jacuzzi Spa And Recreation Room this enclosure by alliance woodcraft cost about $2700 and is very nice looking. I would describe it as an open air gazebo that is made of a cedar roof with a large 36″ x 36″ SkyDome and three wood piece privacy panels which give the impression of walls. If you pay a little bit extra you can also get a bar stool kit and a metal wood roof. You will probably have to assemble this yourself but it shouldn’t be too much work.

Hot Tub Enclosure with Roof Kit by Shirta at $4700 (which is a $2600 savings!) This is an exquisite little room for your hot tub or spa that has a very substantial feeling to it. It is made out of Russian pinewood and comes with Tap Room and bar stools as well as steps which are quite important and don’t often come with other models. It has a metal like roof and 6 mm tough corner glass windows which really give it a sense of beauty and elegance.

Bamboo Spa Hot Tub Enclosure 9′ x 9′ Cogon Roof NEW at about $4000 this is an interesting looking enclosure that has a more of a country look to it. It comes with a shingled wood roof that looks fairly substantial and three walls of enclosures. On one wall is a bar complete with two bar stools that turn your hot tub into a meeting or party place. It also comes with steps which is very important as I’m sure you understand!

Exquisite Hot Tub Enclosure by Shirta at $6000 this is a very cool enclosure, they really looks more like a small house more than anything. Fully enclosed on all four sides and including windows and working doors this is just awesome. It even comes with flowerpots that you can place on each corner and a full working bar equipped with four stools. It’s made out of pinewood and comes with towel hooks, shutters, all weather resistant materials, and a substantial roof.

Hopefully now you have a very good idea of the different hot tub enclosures that are available on the market today. Yes it may be very true that these are incredibly expensive things but they can add years to your hot tub by shielding it from the weather and can quickly and easily raise the property value of your home which is an added bonus.

One thing we all need are a good set of hot tub steps. You buy your hot tub, you bring it home, you install it and you’re all ready to use it and then you realize one very important step that you forgot to take into account (no pun intended)… steps. Let’s face it, many hot tubs are just freaking big and they’re hard to get into without the right steps.

Sure you can rig something up and maybe stick a box in front of it or step up on your toilet or some other chair and try to jump into your hot tub precariously but that’s not safe at all! Let’s face it, we’re dealing with slippery wet surfaces here so rigging something up becomes incredibly unsafe not just for you but for any guests that may be enjoying your hot tub, or for your children or other family members. So I thought I’d build a little page today to help you find the very best steps for your specific hot tub at the right prices because you’ve already spent enough on the tub!

Confer Plastics Handi-Step Resin Spa Step – Redwood HS2-R at around $62 this is just about as cheap as you can find when it comes to quality steps. These come in a beautiful redwood color and are approximately 14 inches high by 29 inches wide by 23 inches deep. They should work on just about every round or straight sided Spa on the market today and they are made out of durable all resin construction and include anti-slip footpads which is incredibly important.

QCA Spas Plastic Steps – HSC at $90 these are slightly more expensive but may be a smidge more sturdy. Created with a sort of durable dual platform design, these steps are both portable and lightweight. They should have no problem whatsoever holding somebody up to 300 pounds which may or may not be a consideration for you but is still a nice feature to have just in case.

Confer Plastics Leisure Accents Spa Storage Step now we’re starting to get into more expensive and durable steps and at $150 that description certainly fits the bill here. The face of these steps is Redwood and the rest of the body is a sort of light gray or off white color. The size is 14 inches high by 36 inches wide by 24 inches deep. These steps are made out of HDPE plastic resin which are both whether resistant and durable.

Two Step Curved Spa Hot Tub Steps at $200 we’ve now stepped into a range of more elegant and beautiful steps. The previous steps that I mentioned were all functional but I wouldn’t call any of them beautiful. At the same time these steps are very nice to look at because they are made out of full Redwood curved wood that are 14 inches high making them safer and easier for you to enter and exit your hot tub. The wood is very durable and attractive. The dimensions of these steps are 34 inches wide by 22 inches deep by 14 inches high and some assembly may very well be required but it shouldn’t be too much work.

So there you have several options when it comes to hot tub steps at various different price ranges. The main choice really is whether you want to go with cheaper steps that don’t look quite so nice or more expensive steps that are more decorative in design? Really that’s a question only you can answer but hopefully now you have the information you need to make the right choice.

We all want a to find a hot tub for sale, but that isn’t always the easiest thing to find! What you don’t want is a used hot tub because that’s just disgusting for any number of reasons that I’m sure I don’t have to go into with you today. The problem is, when you find sales, they’re often for those very used tubs such as at the auction websites.

No, what we want are tubs that are for sale but that are not used and this can be a seasonal sort of thing often like patio furniture that you can find good deals on during the winter when nobody wants to buy patio furniture. I’m not exactly sure when the “sale season” is for hot tubs or even if there is one so instead I just thought I would talk about some very good deals with you today on a number of name brand hot tubs at prices that make them seem like they were on sale.

Belize 1500LS Hot Tub Lounger Spa at $3800 this is quite a hot tub for the price. The one main objective of the design team that created this hot tub was to provide customers with the very best tub values in America and this company really is dedicated to achieving that goal as well as outstanding quality and energy efficiency but at the same time giving you great hydrotherapy action and comfort. All of this at such a low price is really an outstanding sort of thing and if budget is an overriding factor for you I highly suggest you look into this brand.

QCA Spas Majestic Series Cozumel Ultra Hot Tub at around $8000 this may seem like a pretty expensive hot tub until you look at the specific features that come with it at which time you realize you’re getting one heck of a deal. This is a very popular model that comes with an ultra wave non-float lounger seat that is awesome as well as a hydro-max seat and a roto- massage seat as well as a basic bench seat and walk-in steps. It’s large enough for five people and features 98 Jets with 25 hp high flow pumps and 2 hp air blowers as well as color jets and a 10 inch waterfall which is spectacular.

Raindance Pearl Hot Tub at $3500 this is a nice little hot tub at a very affordable price. It comes with 26 hp pumps and has 60 massaging jets. One of the great things about this hot tub is that it retails for $8000 which I guess makes it a sale which is why you’re here today! This is a brand-new tub that is very powerful yet still has a full warranty and is brand-new from the factory. It comes with a no maintenance synthetic redwood cabinet which is unusual for a tub that is this inexpensive. It also comes with Balboa electronics which are some of the very best in the entire industry.

Lifesmart Rock Solid Luna Spa with Plug & Play Operation at around $2500 this is a much smaller hot tub but for the price, you can’t go wrong! It comes with three seating positions and a 110 V 15 amp dedicated circuit electronic system and 12 total jets that adhere to the comfort valve air mixing system. I really like the look of this hot tub and the price is something you can’t beat.

So there you have several models that seem like a hot tub for sale! With the exception of the rain dance tub that I mentioned, these are actually not on sale but then again for the price you pay it really does seem like they are and sometimes that’s the best you can hope for when it comes to hot tubs.

Welcome to my hot tub store web site! Here I hope you will find absolutely everything you could possibly ever want to fit your hot tub needs. From reviews of top models, to tips on hot tub maintenance, to sources of hot tub accessories like chemicals and supplies, HotTubStore.org is your all inclusive hot tub center.

Browse the site, hopefully you will find what you’re looking for but if you don’t, please feel free to contact me using the contact link on the right side of the screen in the green menu there. Throughout these web pages I will discuss hot tub troubleshooting, hot tub maintenance, used hot tubs, hot tubs for sale, soft hot tubs, hot tub steps, hot tub jets, hot tub gazebo, and much much more. So sit back and enjoy!

Hot Tub Uses: Hot tubs, you will agree, have many different uses. Some people use them simply to relax. I think everyone can agree that leaning back in a warm hot tub is one of the most relaxing things in the world, and a great way to ease away the stress of the day. Other people use it for message. Going to a message parlor can cost hundreds of dollars per trip. A hot tub used for message purposes can save you a lot of money in the long run! Other people use them for hydrotherapy, sometimes called hydropathy. They attempt to use the water in pain relief treatments and for treating some illnesses.

Whatever YOUR reason for owning (or wanting to own) a hot tub, we’ve got you covered. I’ll be discussing each of these three main uses in greater detail within the web site.

Types of Heating: Hot tubs can be heated several different ways. Some are heated electrically. Some are heated using natural gas. Some are heated using solar power, and some are heated by hot springs. We call the later natural hot tubs and they can be found all over the place if you know where to look.

Types of Hot Tubs: There are many different types of hot tubs, from wooden to soft or inflatable; one piece or multi-piece, above ground or inground, and indoor or out door. Whatever your preference though, hottubstore.org will help you select the type of hot tub that’s best suited for your current budget and living arrangements.

Hot Tub Accessories: a hot tub isn’t complete without the proper accessories. These things are big investments, after all, and keeping them in good condition is a very important thing to focus on. Having the right accessories can greatly reduce breakdown and increase the ease of upkeep and maintenance. Having the right hot tub enclosures (or hot tub covers) and using the right chemicals can really make all the difference in the world. And even using the right sized hot tub steps can make a difference. Use too small steps and wear and tear on the sides of your hot tub can decrease the effective life of your tub.

Hot tubs are great but they can cost a lot of money and can be a hassle to install and maintain. Inflatable hot tubs might just be the answer! Generally speaking these are much much less expensive than regular models but can be just as much fun and work just as well as their full priced permanent models.

Today I’m going to discuss several of the main inflatable hot tubs on the market today and talk to you about what you can expect as far as features go and things like that, but more importantly I’m going to discuss the different prices you can expect to pay so that you find the best deal because when it comes to a portable tub, price generally tends to be the overriding factor that most people are interested in… otherwise you would just buy a regular model! So let’s get right down to it…

Comfort Line Products Spa at $500 this is a very interesting model. It features 100 micro air jets to help you unwind as well as recharge and comes with a 250 gallon capacity that seats up to four people and doesn’t require any sort of installation whatsoever or any special wiring or plumbing. All you have to do is inflate it, fill it with water and then sit back and relax. It has a 1000 W heater that will bring the water up to about 104°F which is just fine. This model has no real jets it just has a sort of blower that turns the water. Generally speaking this model may only last a season or two so keep that in mind.

Mspa Blue Sea Bubble Spa Portable Inflatable Hot Tub slightly more substantial is the $625 unit that will comfortably seat four people and has a water capacity of 265 gallons. It has 128 standard air jets and comes with a three month warranty for the tub itself and 12 months warranty for the electronic parts that come with it. It is about 74 inches in diameter by 28 inches high with a 58 inch inside diameter. I haven’t heard any bad things about this model but then again I haven’t heard that many great things either so you might want to do your own research as far as reviews go.

MSpa Bubble Spa Camaro Portable Inflatable Hot Tub in a Box 2 Go this unit cost $800 and looks like a big black tire! I’ll be the first one to call this ugly but we may not care how it looks only how it works. Unfortunately I don’t have anything to say about that either which is sometimes a problem with these portable inflatable units because you never quite know what you’re getting yourself into.

MSpa Portable Inflatable Jet Spa M-210 this unit cost about one thousand dollars and will seat four people. It comes with five hydra jets as well as a heavy-duty inflatable cover with a digital lock which is very nice to have so that you know the neighbor kids aren’t messing around with your tub when you’re not around. Set up is as easy as 123 and this model comes with a six month warranty for the tub and 12 months for the electric parts. You may ask yourself why you would spend $1000 on an inflatable unit when you can buy a regular tub cheap for nearly this much. Well sometimes you only have space for inflatable model and if so this may be the one for you!

So there you have several different options when it comes to inflatable hot tubs. For the price you can’t hardly beat them and I heartily recommend that you look into them to fit a myriad of different options. As you can see just about anybody can afford one at the different price ranges; so what are you waiting for?
